MJ Carlesi began competing in May 2007 and won her Pro card in June 2008.
In 2009 she took a break from competing to have her son in the spring of 2010. Within 6 months after giving birth MJ was back on stage competing as a Pro and began writing her first book “Bye Bye Baby Fat”. She would follow that book up with a second book “Starting At Zero” a few years later. MJ was appointed to the board of the American Natural Bodybuilding Federation and named Figure Division Representative at the organization’s inception. She has since traveled far and wide to judge many ANBF shows.
MJ has appeared in Ironman magazine as well as Muscular Development and has even been interviewed by the infamous Gregg Valentino “The Man With Exploding Biceps”.
Some of her noteworthy clients are Kristin Davis, “The Manhattan Madam”, actor/comedian/shock jock Jim Norton and actor/comedian Robert Kelly.
